Rice Pudding

Full of cinnamon flavor, this is almost a true dessert form of a bowl of cinnamon cereal with milk. 🥛

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 3 cups milk

  • 1 can evaporated milk - 12 oz

  • 1 can condensed milk - 12 oz

  • 3 cups of water

  • ⅛ tsp kosher salt

  • 1 lime peeled

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice rinsed well

  • ½ cup of raisins

Rice Pudding

Instructions 

Cook

  • Pour the three milks into a medium saucepan and heat on low, uncovered.

  • Boil water, cinnamon sticks, and lime peel for 3 minutes.

  • Add rice and cook on medium-low, uncovered, for 15 minutes.

  • Add the milk to the rice and simmer for 30 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.

  • Remove the cinnamon sticks and lime peel, add the raisins and let cool for 30 minutes.

  • Serve warm, room temp, or cold.
