Ingredients
1 pound ground Italian sausage
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon liquid aminos
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
3-4 small russet potatoes, about 1 lb.
3 cups kale, roughly chopped, stems included

Prep
Dice onion
Mince garlic
Wash and chop potatoes into 1/4” cubes
Wash and roughly chop kale
Cook
In the large pot, cook the sausage on medium heat until cumbled. Set aside in a medium bowl.
Add the butter and onions. Cook until softened.
Add the garlic, hot sauce, aminos, and seasonings. Cook for another minute.
Slowly add the broth and cream.
Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer.
Add the potatoes. Simmer until fork-tender.
Add the sausage and kale. Simmer for five minutes.
Serve!
